What types of hardware are available for a Putnam rolling ladder?
Classic No. 1, Quiet Glide, and ALTA offer an option for your ladder to always stay on the track or be removed. Meadow Lane features a hook, and LOG features our Stationary Mounting Brackets. All ladders can move between 'stored' or 'climbing' position. Quiet Glide and ALTA also have the option for a braking wheel for added stability.

Can library ladders roll on carpet?
Rolling ladders are designed to roll on hard floor surfaces.
Can rolling ladders be locked into place?
While the ladders cannot be physically locked onto the track, Quiet Glide and ALTA offer braking wheels that use a spring to lock the wheel which prevents the ladder from moving left or right when a user steps onto the ladder (40lb triggers the brake).
